Big Ben and London Eye accross the Thames River, London
|
Location : Westminster, London, England
The name Big Ben is often used to describe the tower, the clock and the bell but the name was first given to the Great Bell. The bell inside the clock tower, which weighs more than 13 tons (13,760 kg). The Clock Tower is 61 meters tall. It is quite probably the most famous sight in all of London. In my opinion, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament are quite
probably the most magnificent looking buildings in all of London. Big
Ben is the heartbeat of London and Westminster Palace is the heart. Visit London must visit Big Ben.
